There are two types of Millathane® millable polyurethane elastomers: polyester type and polyether type; and both can be compounded and processed by the use of conventional rubber parts production technologies and devices, and can be vulcanized by the use of sulfur or peroxide as curing agents.
Millathane® can be used to produce various rubber parts, which have excellent mechanical strength; high abrasion resistance; excellent resistance to oil, solvents, and ozone; gas permeability; and also have high temperature resistance, low temperature flexibility, etc. Millathane 97 can be used to produce transparent, brightly colored, and decorated products.
